HOSA Ashland High School
In 2026, OSF awarded a grant to the HOSA Club at Ashland High School, supporting students interested in pursuing careers in the medical field. As a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO), HOSA provides one of the few structured opportunities at the school for students to develop healthcare knowledge, leadership skills, and exposure to medical professions beyond the classroom.
This grant enabled the club to attend the Oregon HOSA State Leadership Conference in Portland, giving members access to competitive events, hands-on learning experiences, and networking with peers and professionals in healthcare. Funding supported competition registration fees and transportation costs, making participation possible for students who otherwise may not have had access to this opportunity.
Beyond individual student growth, this funding strengthens the broader school community by encouraging interest in healthcare careers and equipping students with practical skills they can carry into future education and service. By expanding access to real-world medical experiences, OSF’s support helps foster the next generation of healthcare leaders.
